ABOUT ME

I am a self-taught artist with a lifelong love of drawing, painting and creating detailed artwork. Having sketched for as long as I can remember, I have steadily refined my skills over many years and now share my work through original artworks,  commissions and fine art prints of my designs.

I specialises in hand-drawn pen and ink illustrations and acrylic paint animal caricatures, often working with a range of materials to suit each client and project. I uses high-quality professional tools and papers, with Rotring Isographs as my trusted pens of choice for illustration work.

I trained as a biologist and palaeontologist, and draw heavily on the natural world for inspiration. Trees, flowers, animals and even space frequently appear in my pen and ink compositions, reflecting both my scientific background and my fascination with natural forms. Alongside this, my love of technical drawing brings in influences from engineering, transport, architecture and technology, giving my portfolio a distinctive blend of organic detail and precise, structural line work.
